Children behave similarly as adults in that they feel frustrated when their environment is restricted, or when it is difficult to access what they need. Teachers have a crucial role in making sure the classroom layout is thoughtfully designed and organized with materials to play. The block area may be used for such activities in a small classroom environment while library/music or movement areas can work well for group activities.
